Trex is a brand of cooking fat. Not available in the market now but it's similiar to butter and shortening..
1953 !!!!!! Look the the fonts and typeset style. Indeed a 'vintage' !
Then I saw this pudding recipe... interesting huh. . Christmas is coming soon.. mince pies, fruit cakes, puddings.. mmmm.. maybe I shall try a recipe from this vintage book.
