Baby May is 4 months

Baby May turned 4 months recently.

Milestones - 

-Able to sleep longer stretch at night. On good nights, if the takes her last milk at 11pm, she will sleep through till 6am but if she knocks off at 9pm, then she will wake up for another bottle of milk by 1am.
Her night sleep is getting better and mummy is getting more rest. Yippee !!  Occasionally when I'm very tired or back late from yoga, I'll ask our helper to take over. In her hands, May tends to sleep better and longer. I wonder why but I'm not complaining ;)

-Milk intake increased to 6oz, every 4 hourly or on demand, which comes sooner.

-She is able to do a full turn. Early this morning, she was grumbling and rumbling in her cot. I checked on her and she has turned, tummy side down and she probably felt uncomfortable with her face stuffing in to the mattress. I turned her back side down and put on pacifier, slot in her favorite bolster and she goes back to sleep.

-Cooo-cahh.. oooh .. ahhh... Talk to her and she'll engage in a long 'conversation' with me, rewarding me with priceless smiles and chuckles.

I have changed her formula milk from Enfalac A+ to Mamex Gold because her pooh was runny and messy. I didn't see much of a difference in her pooh and I may just take back Enfalac A+.   Her paed said oily pooh could be due to high DHA content in the milk powder. DHA comes in oil form and he probably is right. As long as baby is not constipating, I have nothing to worry about.

Overall, she's a happy baby, just like Amber. Amber loves her lots and can't wait to plant kissess on her cheeks when she gets back from school.

Sigh.. so fast ??

Amber called me 2 minutes ago :

Mummy.. my front teeth is moving..

I bite the mentos wrapper and it's pain.. I can move the teeth.

I was just telling hubs that I noticed her jaw is bigger now.  There's space in between each milk teeth, as in preparing for permanent teeth's arrival. We also noticed a permanent molar sprouting out in her lower jaw.

I told her not to panic and I'll go back and check

Can you not touch so hard ok ? Promise ? I scared pain..

Sigh.. such is the fear of a 5 year old losing her front teeth. Coujple of years ago when she lost her front tooth in a fall, I couldn't wait for her permanent tooth to sprout, giving her a complete set of front teeth. Now, I miss her baby-ness and please don't grow up too fast !!!

80 sen a diaper

Amber's on Mamy Poko every night. Blame it on the lazy mom and dad's whose too lazy to move our butt to wake her up to wee wee.  However, lately, she's been waking up at 2am or 3am to go toilet.

By morning, her diaper is dry. We reward her 80 sen for every dry diaper. I gave her the liberty to choose what she wants to buy with her money. She bought a 'chop' . ie rubber stamp from Populars and she's saving more to buy Wrigley's chewing gum :D

I hope she keeps it up and be confident enough to go diaperless soon :D

Liberation, at last

We finally chucked off the booster seat in hubs car. She's tall enough to seat on her own, and buckle up her own seat belt.

Finally ! Finally ! Finally!

I can just shout her to get in the car and slam the door..she'll do the necessary.



4years plus, I've been placing her to the infant seat, car seat, booster seat and strapping her up.

Now, I get my front seat back.. FINALLY !
